Introducing our Drift Festival program

At our beloved Open Source Radio stage, we’re bringing some of the biggest talents Nijmegen has to offer. Get to know them through the introductions below!

Pieter Drijver

Pieter Drijver, the record collector who can do it all. Whether under his trance alias ‘Pedro’, or under his own name. Time after time he manages to surprise us with a next level selection. His passion for vinyl started with collecting 90s hip-hop records, which later expanded to other genres. Now he plays everything that is funky and danceable, from Brazilian boogie to reggae and zouk. After his first set at Open Source Radio he did not go unnoticed by the promoters. He now has his first club gigs to his name. Time to show what he’s got in the open air. Get a taste off what he has to offer via the link below!

Kim Josefine

Another rising star hailing from Nijmegen… Let us introduce you to Kim Josefine! During her first set at Open Source Radio, we immediately noticed her fine selection of soul and disco. For her, too, it went quickly after that. The people who attended Subcultuur where already been able to see her shine on stage. Check what she has to offer via the link below!

 Jakob Dubbel

Jakob is one of the talents that got our attention after the first ‘Blijf Draaien’ initiative of doornroosje. After that he was quickly picked up by parties like Off The Grid and Archipel. Tomorrow, he’ll pick up the pace with danceable house and trance.

Hennio

These boys are busy this weekend! Tonight you can find them playing in Yellow House Amsterdam, tomorrow at our Open Source Radio stage, and as if that wasn’t enough, you can also catch them playing at the afterparty of Planet Rose after the festival. This amount of gigs in a weekend really says it all. Make sure to check Hennio between 18:00 and 19:00!

 Theoson

Our own family member Dirk aka Theoson couldn’t be missing on this lineup. He sometimes finds himself in a bit of a crazy position. On one hand, he is pushing all this talent through de radio station, but on the other hand, he is a big talent himself. The past year, he surprised us with his thoughtful radio shows across the country. This did not go unnoticed by organizations such as Planet Rose. They invited him for his first club gig and the ball started rolling. Check him out tomorrow for a heavy dose of electro!!

OZUM

Born in Istanbul, based in Nijmegen. Let us introduce you (if that’s still necessary) to deejay and producer OZUM. As a resident at Open Source Radio and Blanco, she quickly makes a name for herself in and outside the Nijmegen borders. Her sound is fluid, ranging from electro and trancey techno to high-speed rave influenced sounds. OZUM will make sure you get the energy you need to bounce through to the end.

 Locus Error

Last but not least… Locus Error. Started her first Open Source Radio set as a nervous kid, became a confident daredevil that races the left lane with 250 kilometers per hour on her way to achieve her dreams. Now we can hardly name a party in Nijmegen that she hasn’t demolished yet. Even outside Nijmegen no one is safe. She was even featured on Thuishaven!! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this loyal resident and radio host! Check her tomorrow to make sure you’re there when she sets the container on fire.
