Our program
The Open Source Radio program is interdisciplinary, accessible, diverse and high quality. Open Source Radio is rooted locally, but we try to look beyond the borders of our own city. We always strive to find the right balance between local artists, creators, new talent and international artists, labels, collectives, other partners and theme days.
Diversity and inclusion, innovation and (social) sustainability are part of our core values that must be guaranteed within the whole organization. Electronic Music, Hip-hop and youth culture have a central role within our program.
Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator is responsible for:
- Creating a high-quality program, together with the head of program and a team of curators;
- Managing a team of curators and residents;
- Discovering new (local) talent;
- Confirming artists & staying in touch;
- Evaluating the program together with the program team;
- Making sure the core values from Open Source Radio are being represented in our program.
We are looking for someone who:
- Loves music – especially electronic music and hip hop;
- Has a keen eye for (local) talent;
- Lives in or near Nijmegen;
- Deals with the themes diversity and inclusion and feels motivated to involve these themes within the OSR program;
- Has a good balance between working independently and working in a team environment;
- Is eager to discover and learn, and has a critical and forward-looking eye;
- Knows how to create and maintain structure and balance.

Availability and allowance:
You will start from the first week of June 2026.
There’s work for a maximum of 8 hours per week. There’s a voluntary allowance available, as Open Source Radio is a non-profit organization mainly funded by subsidies.
Wednesdays are our main days; thus it would be great if you are available for meetings between 10:00 and 12:00. You can work from home, but we also have a working place in Nijmegen and come together at least once a month.
