Wie zijn wij?
Open Source Radio is een Nijmeegs online radiostation dat een podium biedt aan kunstenaars, artiesten, muziekliefhebbers, talent en promotors uit de Electronic Music, Hiphop & Culture’ scenes. Daarmee vormen we de verbinding tussen verschillende groepen mensen en stimuleren we samenwerking, kruisbestuiving en ontwikkeling aan de hand van een (3-daags) laagdrempelig, maar kwalitatief hoogstaand programma. We zijn een klein, gedreven en mega-gepassioneerd team dat veel waarde hecht aan innovatie, diversiteit en (sociale) duurzaamheid.

 

Meewerkstage Marketing & Communicatie

Wat ga je doen? 

Als stagiair(e) communicatie/marketing ben jij de motor achter onze communicatie afdeling. Elke week zorg jij ervoor dat alle content op tijd klaar staat om live te gaan en schakel je met artiesten, radiohosts en het kernteam van Open Source Radio. Daarnaast denk je mee over hoe we onze marcom naar een hoger niveau kunnen tillen en krijg je de ruimte om (goede) ideeën meteen om te zetten tot actie. Hieronder een greep uit de werkzaamheden die je gaat doen:

  • Analyseren van data, maken van overzichten;
  • Opvragen van presskits bij artiesten/agents;
  • Creëren en uitsturen van artist designs;
  • Overige foto & video editing;
  • Uitsturen callsheets en bijhouden van wijzigingen in radioshows;
  • Knippen en uploaden van radioshows;
  • Bijdragen aan de creatie, planning en publicatie van content op onze kanalen;
  • Algemeen onderhoud van de website (timetables, uitgelichte sets e.d.);
  • Ondersteunen van de radiohosts.

Profiel stagiair(e)
Eisen hebben we niet, maar wel zijn er een aantal dingen die je zullen helpen met het succesvol (en met plezier) doorlopen van deze stage:

  • Je houdt van de muziek die we programmeren;
  • Je werkt hard, nauwkeurig, kritisch(!) en durft fouten te maken (en ervan te leren); 
  • Je hebt geen 9-5 mentaliteit;
  • Je neemt graag het initiatief en bent niet bang om je ideeën op tafel te gooien;
  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal goed;
  • Basiskennis van Photoshop, Indesign en audio/videobewerkingsprogramma’s is een pré, maar kunnen we je ook leren.

Onderzoeksstage Marketing & Communicatie

Wat ga je doen? 

Als onderzoeksstagiair(e) hou jij je bezig met de ontwikkeling van de online aanwezigheid van Open Source Radio. Je doet onderzoek naar de interne organisatie, doelgroepen en beschikbare platformen en presenteert ons een advies dat je (grotendeels) zelf implementeert. De kaders van je opdracht stemmen we samen af. Daarnaast denk je mee over hoe we content-inhoudelijk onze marcom naar een hoger niveau kunnen tillen en krijg je de ruimte om (goede) ideeën meteen om te zetten tot actie. Hieronder een greep uit de werkzaamheden die je gaat doen:

  • Bijdragen aan de creatie, planning en publicatie van content op onze kanalen;
  • Werken aan je onderzoeksopdracht(en);
  • Meedenken en advies geven over onze output.
  • Ondersteunen van de radiohosts.

Meewerkstage Team Management

Wat ga je doen? 

Als stagiair(e) ben jij de motor achter ons team. Open Source Radio telt samen circa vijf kernteam-medewerkers, 15 radiohosts en 10 curatoren (programmeurs). We zijn een snelgroeiend radiostation en dankzij jou kunnen we zo effectief mogelijk samenwerken aan een gemeenschappelijk doel. Je zult onze radiohosts begeleiden en ondersteunen, je eigen maandelijkse interne nieuwsbrief vormgeven en onze communitybuilding naar een hoger niveau tillen. Je krijgt de ruimte om (goede) ideeën om te zetten tot actie. Hieronder een greep uit de werkzaamheden die je gaat doen: 

  • Je houdt je bezig met de werving van radiohosts;
  • Je stimuleert teambonding door het initiëren van teambondingactiviteiten voor het kernteam, de radiohosts en de programmeurs;
  • Je biedt ondersteuning bij het maken van de maandelijkse radiohostplanning; 
  • Je biedt ondersteuning en begeleiding aan de radiohosts; 
  • Je gaat partnerships aan met bedrijven en organisaties; 
  • Je schrijft een maandelijkse interne nieuwsbrief; 
  • Je denkt mee over onze communitybuilding strategie.

Profiel stagiair(e)

About Open Source Radio

Open Source Radio is an online radio station from Nijmegen that offers a stage to artists, music lovers, talent and promoters from the Electronic Music, Hiphop & Culture scenes. We try to connect different groups of people and stimulate collaborations, cross-pollination and development through a (3-day) accessible, but high-quality program. Internship Marketing & Communication

As our intern…

You are the driving force behind our communication department. Every week you make sure our content is ready to meet the world and shift with partners, artists, radiohosts and our coreteam to get everything set in time. Also you think along in how we can bring our marcom to a higher level, as we offer you the possibility to turn your (good) ideas into action. Down here you can find a selection of the work you’ll be doing:

– Analysing data en presenting this in the form of monthly overviews;

– Requesting press kits of artists/agency’s;

– Creating and sending out artist designs;

– Additional photo & video editing;

– Sending out callsheets and keeping track of adjustments in our program;

– Cutting and uploading our radioshows to our archive;

– Supporting the creation, planning and publishing of our content on all our channels;

– Regular maintenance of our website (timetables, featured broadcasts etc.)

– Supporting our radiohosts.

Intern profile

We do not have any requirements, but there are a number of things that will help you successfully go through this internship:

          You love the music we program;

          You work hard, accurately, critically(!) and dare to make mistakes (and learn from them);

          You don’t have a 9-5 mentality;

          You like to take initiative and are not afraid to show us your ideas;

          You speak English and preferably you understand Dutch;

          Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign and audio/video editing programs is an advantage, but we can also teach you.

Research internship Marketing & communication

As our intern…

As a research intern, you are involved in the development of the online presence of Open Source Radio. You conduct research into the internal organization, target groups and available platforms and present us with advice that you (mostly) implement yourself. Together, we will coordinate the frameworks of your assignment. In addition, you think along about how we can take content to the next level and you will have the space to turn (good) ideas into action. Below is a section of some of the activities:

          Contributing to the creation, planning and publication of content on our channels;

          Working on your research assignment(s);

          Thinking along and giving advice on our output;

          You offer support to our radio hosts.

Intern profile

We do not have any requirements, but there are a number of things that will help you successfully go through this internship:

          You love the music we program;

          You work hard, accurately, critically(!) and dare to make mistakes (and learn from them);

Internship Team Management

As our intern…

As Team Management intern, you are one of the driving forces behind our team. Open Source Radio has approximately five core team members, 15 radio hosts and 10 curators (programmers). We are a fast-growing radio station and because of you we can work together as effectively as possible. You will guide and support our radio hosts, design your own monthly internal newsletter and take our community building to the next level. You will have the space to turn (good) ideas into action. Below is a section of some of the activities:

          You will recruit radio hosts;

          You stimulate team bonding by initiating team bonding activities for the core team, radio hosts and programmers;

          You offer support in creating the monthly radio host schedule;

          You offer support and guidance to the radio hosts;

          You are seeking partnerships with firms and organizations;

          You write a monthly internal newsletter;

          You think about our community building strategy.

Intern profile

We do not have any requirements, but there are a number of things that will help you successfully go through this internship:

          You love the music we program;
